Rowland Linford, Visiting Professor, University of Wyoming provided an update of the issues surrounding the earthquake in Japan, impacts on future safety regulations and future development across the globe. In addition, Rowland will provide an update on the latest development in small-scale nuclear reactors.

County-Level Planning Recommendations for Transmission Infrastructure Development:
Nadia Kaliszewski, Master’s in Planning and Environment & Natural Resources, University of Wyoming, discussed her thesis findings relative to county-level transmission infrastructure planning. The study compares three alternative planning methods based on administrative feasibility and efficiency.
